    Re: Commercial Law Legal Case. You should have access to databases such as casebase via ur university library page. Another good place to look is in legal encylopedias and textbooks they often tell you the leading case(s) for principles. :) Good luck

    sounds like you have the idea. Basically the police have the choices you have mentioned due to issues such as lack of resources, focus on particular crimes, lack of evidence etc..

    finding statements of law..

    Generally you read through the judgement until you find the statement that supports what you are saying (make sure you are reading the majority judgement and not the dissenting ones). However if you arent used to doing it it might be easier to grab a textbook (i.e. in your case a contracts one)...

    You'll also find that often the choice is made by your teacher and you have to live with it :) As the year goes on and more people start their option topics discussion will probably happen in the Other Options Subforum. I can't help you much as I did global environment however someone on here...

    Yep I get you, I probably didn't phrase that properly but I meant like stating an authority for a legal princple or something... Bah I much prefer footnoting, I hate how my essays look when I have to use APA or harvard...ick

    As I understand it you footnote even when you paraphrase something etc...footnoting also shows that you have supporting evidence for your statement. I'm not sure if thats right since I havent got anything back yet :)
