uts vs sydney for software engineering..

Actually at USYD, comp Eng and Soft Engo do exactly the same units in first year, and computer sci can choose to do the same units but does not have too..in addition there are many other subjects comp sci can choose to do that s/e ppl cant do cos all our subjects are chosen for us.

uts vs sydney for software engineering..

I reckon UNSW is probably more comp sci oriented, at least for first year anyway... USYD does have more of an electrical component... So really, if you have no interest in electronics, go UNSW

    software engineering at usyd...

Im doing software engo at usyd Theres nothing special, its just that usyd posts expected level of achievment UAI's (i.e they expect someone going into software engo to have got a uai of 95) as opposed to UTS or UNSW which decide based on popularity and the lowest uai to get into the course...

    Help!!!

Do both :) Nuh, but if you are interested in both, elec eng at unisyd has same first year as software engineering(at usyd mixture of elec + software), so if you enjoy elec you could stick with that, or if you enjoy software you could change to software engo (with i think , only a credit average...

SOftware Engo Hey im doing software engo at Sydney uni, the course seems pretty good in general but the first year subjects this year were ok, nothing special. Which Course?

Uh.... Id be careful about any course that is aimed solely at video game development. From what i hear, employers tend to look more favourably on general degrees that show you have a variety of skills, and if you ever change your mind a degree on video game programming wont really help you get...

Is your course easier or harder than Yr 12?

Well all my uni courses seem to be broken into the following Lectures= You sit in a lecture hall and a professor explains the section of the course you are learning that week, its similar to a lesson at school except you dont do any work whatsoever its just a lecture, sometimes there are...

Is your course easier or harder than Yr 12?

Easier University is much easier, simply because the courses are only 3 months long each and are far more structured. The actual quantity of work you do is slightly less than any given 3 months in the hsc, but the work is usually at a higher level. However i just find the layout of all the...

    Alternative methods for entrance

Software Engo Dont know about bachelor of computer science but if ur interested in software engineeering at Usyd (which overlaps computer science but is more electrical/management) electrical engineering and software engineering have the same first year, but elec engo has a far lower uai. Once...
