Plan to take it easy until uni, then work hard to become a Dr - is it flawed?

I don’t understand this obsession with “losing your youth” in Year 12. Honestly, Year 12 is not really “youth”. The real enjoyment of “youth” (so to speak) happens in uni - especially once you and your peers turn 18. I’m sure most people will agree with me. You can still study medicine at uni...

Pretty much this. For most people the whole “youth experience” thing happens in uni, not high school.

Plan to take it easy until uni, then work hard to become a Dr - is it flawed?

If I'm not mistaken, undergrad med is a faster pathway to becoming a doctor than post-grad med. There are also plenty of instances where people took a separate undergraduate degree with the aim to getting into postgraduate medicine (usually because they couldn't get into undergraduate medicine)...

    Limit Maths Question

Do you mean y=e-x^2e^x If so then as x gets large the x^2 also gets large and so does e^x Hence that whole second term gets very large, but since it is a small constant minus this very large term the whole thing becomes negatively large

    Struggling With Conics Question

Draw a diagram and it should be clear that you just need to prove similar triangles and equate the ratio of sides, then work it out from there. Alternatively, you could find the coordinates of G and H then directly prove the ratio by computation.

    Federal Election May 18

The problem is that every attempt so far at implementing effective climate change policy in Australia has failed. The closest we got was a carbon price implemented under Gillard, which then got repealed under Abbott. The NEG was another close call but ended up getting dumped amongst the recent...

    Federal Election May 18

I don’t think Shorten’s popularity made a huge difference tbh. If we cast our minds back to the 2012 election we had a similar situation where Kevin Rudd just (revenge) rolled Julia Gillard and was up against Tony Abbott. Rudd was clearly more popular than Abbott yet the LNP won - which many...

    Surviving Extension Maths

Make sure you understand the logic of where everything comes from (e.g. derivations of formulas) as it reinforces your understanding of how certain formulas work and when they don't work. Otherwise, you're just working with a black box that you don't understand and therefore don't know when to...
