yeah, my intro for essay was a page. but then again..i established links between texts in my intro, and instead of just rewriting the questions key words in sentences.. went on to briefly state how and through what it was shown yadda yadda. did any of you guys like me, use comparitive terms...

lol that poem sucked 23q. i even forgot what i analysed in it.. but im sure i analysed several techniques, with quote references. meh.. it was like 3 marks. even if i get 2 ill be happy.

i've read somehwere on board of studies site that 6-8 pages of the hsc writing booklets is sufficient for a strong, high-range response. in saying that.. even if u wrote 3498045025 pages... doesn't mean it will be high-range.

6 pages :) and thought I answered all parts sufficiently.

yeah, i did it first as i used 5 minutes of my reading time actually reading the texts, and then planning my responses to each question part.

i totally agree. i used only 3 booklets. and wrote this much: section 1: 6 pages section 2: 6 pages section 3: 8 pages and i felt quote confident with the answers.. they addressed the questions well..., and dont see why they can't score me as much marks as someone who wrote like...

nah the exam supervisor that signed me off said it was fine, didn't have to.

I guess I'm ready - I know all the texts.. and am pretty ready with my creative. But there's still that 'butterflies-in-stomach' feeling. It's normal I guess. *time warp to 11.30am tomorrow*

I actually feel confident now. I'm syked for the exam I feel most prepared for Section III, Section II meh, my creative will do ( just have to tweak it to question)... Section I should be OK also Bring it on! Im fed up of waiting

I believe we are given 3 to start with... with 8 pages in each one. According to business people i talked to.. they look exactly the same as the past writing booklets.

did pretty much the same went to school.. my teacher gave me feedback on practice essays. reassured me im going to kill it etc etc and then went to officeworks on the way home and bought some nicee pens.

If they give us starting quote.. it would be much easier to mould your story around a starting quote, rather than them give u a central idea to ur story.

just dont mention the words "stimulus booklet" in your response. lol u can use any stimulus booklet texts as a related texts. but hsc advice line recommended u use ur own to show ur marker u have studied in-depth 2 of ur own texts.

probably just gna go get a haircut... go to officeworks and buy some nice pens for writing (i checked out the paper on the hsc writing booklets and its terrible... its different to ur normal a4 paper.. closer to a toilet paper consistency LOL). Ballpoint pens dont really work well with the paper...

im doing 2 skrzyencki poems in the essay... 1 - 2 references/quotes for each poem.. and say 2 techniques at least for each quote.. so around 8 all up.

baaaaah its so surreal. in 34 hours im sitting paper 1 - area of studyyyyyyy uh0h

I think 80 raw aligns to 90 for chem. You'd be looking at low 70s (72-73-74) to get a low band 5.
