For both half-yearly and trial.. i did 2 skrzyencki poems, and then 2 related texts. Got 15/15 and 14/15, respectively.

I just rang up the advice line to clarify this, and the lady said that you can still use texts in the stimulus booklet as related texts... but it's wise to use your own to show that you have analysed/studied two of your OWN texts. She also said that you're allowed to use a text from Section I of...

I know this is really easy for many of uz... but for some reason i never get full marks for this kind of question, and i've never exactly understood the method well. I usually get a mark for saying tha x =/= SOMETHING. But then i dont get the other mark coz i get the wrong inequality or...

Lol yeeeh same. I've stolen some HSc writing booklets and have scanned them and print out for practicing on. Today, my friend and I went to officeworks and made like over 100 copies of the hsc booklet pages. we then did paper 2 modules using that paper. its good to practice so u know roughly...

Like, in particular... do you guys actually memorise the equations for chords/tangents etc etc in the parabole chapter? I usually just derive most of them while answering question. But then there are trig formulas and rules that you just have 2 remember.

do we actually have to remember like each transformation.. or will they always specify in an exam to which form they want you to change it to?

yepp chem is last, but i feel good for chem. plus i have one week to refine all knowledge for it.

I feel scareddddd HSC in like 4-5 days. Haven't really knocked up a good creative writing piece. Although I could just improve the one I used for the half yearly or trial. I did a 'rehearsal' of English adv paper 2 today with my friend.... aah it was terrible. I wrote like no more than 8...

That's a typo for chem.. on the letter i got from BOS.. it says 2 - 5 November. In other words, if you have a chem question.. there will only be chem advisers in that particular period.

I just rang up and asked about a past Paper 2 King Lear question that I quite didn't understand. They were actually quite helpful, the lady definitely knew what she was talking about. Pretty good service IMO.

Also, on the topic of writing... Does writing 'BIG' help you to write faster? I usually write very small and sometimes when I rush in exams some words become unreadable, because I tend to combine two letters into one symbol.. lol looks like an unfinished word.
