I just applied there in case I got offered something soon after the group interview.... last time I applied for something there, it took them about a month to offer me something, and I had already found something much much better! Hoping that I find something better again... and soon!!!!!

I have to do a group interview on Tuesday.... I don't understand why they make you do the group interviews again if you have already passed it once.... I mean, it should be even easier to get through the second time!

UTS BA Communication (Information Management) is a great course apparently if you want to work in that field.

Haha when my flatmate came back from this camp this arvo he looked so tired/hungover.... sounds like you all had a fun time, I wish my faculty had a camp... except when journalism students get drunk they tend to just rant about how much they hate John Howard....

I'm currently on the job hunt again, and I just thought I would ask if anyone has seen positions vacant advertised at any shops in the city? Or has any suggestions of places where I could get a job quickly? I've already applied for a few (only been back in Sydney for a day) but any suggestions...

CB 10 is building 10.... which is in the block next to the poo tower.... there are signs poiting the direction to building 10 saying "enrolment" on them so I am sure you won't get lost. You don't have to pay anything tommorrow, you will be sent an invoice in the mail for your student fees.

Yeah, it has to be your thing.... and it was quite different to what I expected at the start so I can understand why people didn't like it because it wasn't what they were expecting.

I've been to Vietnam, which was awesome, and I am currently in NZ and I am having an awesome time.... can't wait to travel more, so many places I want to go, but so little money in my bank account :(

That's what I was trying to say. Having the degree doesn't mean a lot if you haven't put the effort in to build up a portfolio and take the chances for experience that are given to you. You can't just cruise along at uni and think you will get a good job at the end of it just because you went...

At one place where I worked there was this girl that did absolutely no work and there would be a huge line in front of her register and she was filing her nails and talking to people.... she got sacked thank god, but she managed to stay there for a few months!

Don't sweat about meeting people. I moved to Sydney and did not know a single person. Now I can't count all the people I know and get along well with. Just sit next to people in lectures, introduce yourself.... in tutes they always get you to introduce yourself etc... don't be shy because...

One of our family friends couldn't afford to go straight to uni and couldn't get YA.... she got an early offer in to the course she wanted to do and you couldn't defer it. She had no choice but not to go.... then the next year she couldn't get in. Hence, she was crushed and all her hard work...
