I'm still not completely sure what the core difference is apart from the chatroom vs. forum point.
BoredofStudies is a forum with nearly 100, 000 members from around the state made up of high school students, uni students and teachers. Most of our moderators are university students who are...
Basically what she said.:)
Here is a link to some stuff that goes over writing techniques and so on, but the best thing to do is experiment with whats good for you and then refine it once you've found your way. It seems like you've had quite a few volunteers already, but I'll put my hand up...
I would, it has validity as a crime text with the added bonus of being fairly unconventional. Make sure that you analyse it specifically as a crime text though and not in general terms otherwise you might have problems.
There usually is an exemptions line and fees payment line - you don't go in the same queue as everyone else if you get an exemption, at least to my experience. So just make sure you remember next time.:)
Well, um, name sorta says it all - so has anyone done this unit and can tell me anything about it(the handbook is a little sparse on info)? For instance, do you attend a uni while overseas or do you do hw by correspondence? What does MQ pay for and what would I pay for? What kind of level of...
Re: Ultimo, best TAFE?
It really depends on what you wish to do at TAFE, for example if you want to do art or design then I would definitely say Enmore however if you wanted a HSC then I would say Bradfield, Ultimo or North Sydney etc.
Then bring in your proof of centrelink thing and your payment receipt and take it to the office and then you get a refund for your payment. In the future though, bring the centrelink proof of allowance in the firstplace and you won't neccesarily have to pay those fees
I remember back in 03' that when I enrolled and got the stamp on my slip for my year 10 course it was so busy that I came back on the next day to pay enrollment fees - though I can't tell you if that applies to your campus or is still allowed in 06.
Did you read my previous post ?
Didn't Lexicographer's case dismiss this point? Heck, the whole existence of GAMSAT and UMAT and all the interview stages dismiss the "good UAI makes doctors"stance.
MBBS can be entered through GAMSAT, but first you need an undergrad degree - you can do this through OLA without a UAI, in fact without an SC(year 10). So here is your timeline:
2 years of BGenStu ---> Grad MBBS via GAMSAT.
Or alternatively do Non-award and get into a BSc then do a grad MBBS...
It doesn't mean a thing though...thats exactly what I was saying. If I wanted to be a lawyer or physician I could be, and without the HSC(or VCE or IB etc) and without losing anytime at all. The HSC and the UAI may be a popular and traditional method of entry but its not the best, cheapest or...
funnybunny you don't even really need what the HSC offers to get in to uni, it doesn't even get you there faster. The HSC seriously means nothing to your future, and it says very little about your IQ - sure the people who got 99+ are probably intelligent people but there a hundreds of areas and...
Yup, the handbook says that you get around 7 years of SLE(which is part of their terminology now for HECS eligibility or something...) to play with - but you can get bonus SLE by doing Honours. Its all on the website that the gov puts all the HECS details on as well.
